Call for abstracts: Food Futures in the Anthropocene: place-based, just, convivial, University of Tasmania, Launceston, Australia
30 Apr 2020
Abstracts are invited for papers, workshops and panel discussion for the Food Studies Conference 2020, which will take place on 8 to 10 November 2020 at the University of Tasmania.
The theme is ‘Food Futures in the Anthropocene: Place-based, Just, Convivial’. Contributions should critically reflect on the nature of food systems that are socially, economically, politically, culturally and technically attuned to place, that foster food security and justice, and that serve to unite rather than divide communities through convivial food experiences.
