The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine is currently recruiting for a research fellow in food system economics, to undertake analyses of the impacts of food system policies on food consumption, dietary patterns, health, environment and the wider economy. The post holder will work for two large projects that have started in 2017: ‘Sustainable and Healthy Food Systems (SHEFS)’ and ‘Evaluation of the health impacts of the UK Treasury Soft Drinks Industry Levy (SDIL)’. The post is full time and available for 40 months.

Requirements include a postgraduate degree (PhD or MSc with relevant work experience), good knowledge and experience in policy evaluation methods, proven ability to use data analytical software including Stata or R and high quality skills in data management. See the full job description here.
