Call for papers: Oxford symposium on food and cookery

The annual Oxford Symposium on Food and Cookery is accepting paper proposals for its 2019 event. The topic is “food and power”, encompassing the activities of governments and corporations, gender, ethnicity, class, mass media and cultural attitudes. Papers are welcome from anyone with an interest in food and its history.
