As some of you may remember, we sent out a survey in January to gather your thoughts about Fodder and to understand how Fodder could be improved. Thank you very much to all of those who responded. Our new volunteer Ellie Chandler has spent time looking through the feedback.
We are proud to say that, overall, Fodder readers like Fodder! One of the key conclusions we are able to draw from this survey is that the majority of respondents use Fodder to keep up to date with research and developments regarding food, climate and sustainability, beyond their own specific topic of research. We are also glad that the majority of readers would recommend Fodder to their colleagues, and that readers find our summaries to be useful, understandable and would miss them if they were to stop.
However, it seems that our readers may benefit from a more extensive overview of new published research, with shorter and less detailed summaries than we’ve been producing to date.
Over the next few weeks we will be incorporating your feedback, trying out a new style and editing the format of Fodder. We will also be working to improve the way which readers can submit content or research for inclusion in Fodder.
Do please let us know what you think of these changes and of any other suggestions that you might have.
